In order to obey the commands of Christ to take the gospel to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8 “you shall be witnesses to Me . . . to the end of the earth.”), as well as to do what we can to feed the hungry (Mat 25:35 “I was hungry and you gave Me food.”) , the pastors of Christ Liberty have chosen to begin our missions work by partnering with Love A Child.

Love A Child works in Haiti, the poorest country in the world.  They not only feed the hungry, build housing and train people to be self-supporting, but also start schools and churches among the poorest of the poor.  They do the most with the least of any mission I have found.  By partnering with them, we now provide one healthy meal per day to 46 starving children on an ongoing basis, and we sponsor two desperately needy children by providing them with access to food, Christian education, medical care and hope.  We do this on our beginning mission budget.  As we receive more for missions, we hope to do much more.

The children we sponsor are Bendy Guillaume, a boy of 5, and Vaneska Beaubrun, a girl of 5, both in the village of Mme Beauge.
